Warranty & Repairs

At Bron, every piece of jewelry is crafted with the greatest care and attention. Still, on rare occasions, something may go wrong in the production process. That is why we offer a one-year warranty on manufacturing and material defects.

Warranty conditions

  • The warranty applies only if the piece was created, set, resized, or repaired by our own experts at Bron.
  • All gemstones have a certain hardness and are generally scratch-resistant, but even the hardest materials, like diamond, can be damaged if not treated with care.

Warranty on gemstones, diamonds, and pearls

Bron offers a one-year warranty on gemstones, diamonds, and pearls when the jewelry has been worn with care. Damage, marks, or scratches caused by improper use are not covered under warranty. If applicable, a damaged stone, diamond, or pearl will be replaced free of charge with a comparable one.

How does the warranty work?

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase. To submit a warranty claim, we kindly ask for the following:

  1. A brief description of the issue
  2. The order number associated with the piece
  3. The date of purchase

After the warranty period

If your jewelry becomes damaged after the warranty period has expired, we are still here to help. We will assess the piece together and do our best to offer a solution, possibly with a partial contribution to the costs.

To request a repair, please contact our customer service team by email at info@bronjewelry.com or by phone at +31 (0) 182 382 900. All repairs are evaluated and handled in our own atelier to ensure the highest quality and craftsmanship.

Repair costs

  • Within the warranty period: If the repair is due to a manufacturing or quality issue, it will be fully covered by Bron Jewelry.
  • Outside the warranty period: In this case, repair and shipping costs will be at your expense. These will always be clearly communicated in advance.

How to send us your repair
You may submit your repair in one of the following ways:

1. Drop-off at your Bron jeweler: You may leave your piece of jewelry with your Bron dealer, who will ensure it is safely sent to Bron Jewelry.

Please note: The warranty does not apply if your jewelry was set, resized, or repaired by someone other than our own specialists. If you are unsure, feel free to contact our customer service team, we will gladly advise you.

We will make sure your jewelry is professionally evaluated and, if possible, repaired in our atelier. Any applicable costs for repair and shipping will be discussed with you in advance. 

Delivery

At Bron Jewelry, we offer different delivery options depending on the type of product you order. It is important to distinguish between items that are readily available (In-Stock) and those that are specially made for you (Made-to-Order).

In-Stock items

  • Delivery time: Items that are in-stock are usually delivered within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Delivery options:
  1. Home delivery: In-stock items will be delivered by DHL Express. With DHL’s On Demand Delivery service, you can choose when and where your order will be delivered. For more information, please visit the DHL On Demand Delivery website.
  2. Pick-up at a Bron Jeweler: You may choose to have your order delivered to a Bron Jeweler of your choice. There, you can try on your jewelry at your convenience and, if everything is to your satisfaction, complete the purchase directly at the store.

Made-to-Order items

  • Delivery time: Jewelry that is made especially for you will be ready within 30 days.
  • Delivery: Once your piece is completed, it will be shipped directly to your home address.

Orders containing multiple items
If your order includes both in-stock and made-to-order items, we will ship the available items first unless you specifically request to receive everything in one shipment. If you have any special delivery preferences, please let us know.

Bron Jewelry delivers to addresses in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Austria.

Please note: We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

Sizing

Resizing a ring is a delicate process that can affect both the structure and appearance of the piece. That is why Bron follows strict quality standards to ensure your ring remains in perfect condition after adjustment.

All resizing is carefully assessed and completed in our own atelier. If any costs apply, we will discuss them with you in advance.

Choosing a Bron jewel is an exciting and often personal experience, especially given the many options and combinations available. In many cases, this process is best supported in-store, where expert guidance is available.

That is why our online collection is limited to a curated selection of items that require minimal explanation.

All orders are shipped with DHL Express to ensure fast and reliable delivery. The exact delivery time depends on whether the item is in stock or made to order.

  • In-Stock items: These are typically shipped within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Made-to-Order items: If an item is not in-stock, it will be crafted especially for you. This process can take up to 30 days before the jewelry is ready to ship.

If your order contains only in-stock items, they will be shipped together. If your order includes a combination of in-stock and made-to-order items, we will ship the available pieces first. The made-to-order item will follow as soon as it's ready.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an automatic confirmation email at the address provided during checkout. The status of your order depends on the type of item:

  • In-Stock items: These are usually shipped within 1 to 3 business days to your home address or to a Bron jeweler of your choice in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, or Austria.
  • Made-to-Order items: If your order includes a piece that needs to be especially made, please allow up to 30 days for production. Once the jewelry is ready, it will be shipped immediately, and you will receive a shipping confirmation by email.

If your order includes both in-stock and made-to-order pieces, we will ship the in-stock items first unless you request a combined shipment.

All payments are securely processed by our payment provider, Mollie. Mollie protects your privacy and only shares the information necessary to complete your transaction with Bron Jewelry.

You may also choose to have in-stock items delivered to a Bron jeweler, where you can try them on in person. If you are happy with your selection, you can complete the payment directly at the store. Please note that purchases made through a Bron jeweler are subject to their own terms and conditions, and accepted payment methods may vary by location.

At Bron Jewelry, most of our pieces are carefully crafted in our atelier in Schoonhoven and go through strict quality checks. Whether your order can be canceled or changed depends on the type of item:

  • In-Stock items:
    You can cancel or change your order as long as it has not yet been shipped. Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible via info@bronjewelry.com or call +31 (0) 182 382 900.
    You also have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving it. To do so, send us a written statement by email or post. You can use the return form included with your order.
  • Made-to-Order items:
    These pieces are created especially for you. Canceling or changing them is only possible if production has not yet started. If you are unsure, contact our customer service team right away.
    If you are not fully satisfied with your made-to-order jewelry after receiving it, please contact us. We will be happy to look into a possible solution based on the specific piece and situation.

Please note: Refusing the delivery or not collecting your item from the carrier does not count as a valid return or cancellation under our policy.

Wear and enjoy your jewelry, but handle with care

Your jewelry is made to be worn and enjoyed every day. However, we recommend removing it during activities such as gardening, cleaning, home improvement projects, swimming, cooking, and sports to prevent wear and damage. Avoid contact with rough or hard surfaces like stone or sand. Leave your jewelry at home when spending a day at the beach.

Store your jewelry safely

When not wearing your jewelry, store each piece separately in its original box, a travel case, or a soft fabric pouch to prevent scratches and damage. Avoid humid environments, such as bathrooms, to prevent oxidation and discoloration of metals.

Avoid contact with chemicals

Keep your jewelry away from household chemicals like bleach, chlorinated water, and cleaning agents, as well as lotions, perfumes, makeup, and hair products, as they can leave a dull film and affect your jewelry’s brilliance. For gentle cleaning, use a soft toothbrush, lukewarm water, and a few drops of liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

Schedule regular jewelry check-ups

To keep your jewelry looking flawless, we recommend having it professionally cleaned and inspected at least once a year by our specialists. Sometimes, small imperfections or loose gemstones may not be visible to the naked eye, but our experts will ensure your jewelry remains in perfect condition.

We craft all of our jewelry using only 18 karat gold, the international standard for fine jewelry. Nearly all Bron designs are available in rose gold, yellow gold, and white gold — offered at a consistent price point across all colors.

For each gold color, we have developed a custom alloy to achieve the ideal balance of hue, shine, and durability. In addition, all the gold we use is recycled, giving it new life in our jewelry. This way, we combine exceptional quality with a commitment to sustainability.

At Bron, all of our collections are designed in-house. Most of our jewelry is skillfully handcrafted by our goldsmiths and gemstone setters in our own atelier in Schoonhoven and at Bron Boutique Naarden, located in the historic Naarden Vesting. Every piece is made with the utmost care and undergoes a thorough quality inspection.

Having our own atelier allows us to respond quickly and flexibly to the wishes of our customers, ensuring that every piece meets their expectations perfectly.

Returns & Exchanges

If you chose home delivery for your online order, you may return any in-stock items free of charge either via DHL Express or by dropping them off at one of our Bron Boutiques:

Returns must be made within 14 days of the delivery date, either by mail or in person at one of our boutiques.

Please note: Refusing delivery or failing to collect your order from the carrier does not count as a valid return under our return policy.

Return Instructions via DHL Express

  1. Complete the return form included with your order.
  2. Follow the instructions on the back of the form.
  3. Return your order free of charge via DHL Express.

Please note: Made-to-Order items are not eligible for return

Made-to-Order jewelry is specially crafted just for you. Because of its personalized nature, these pieces are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned.

If you are not completely satisfied after receiving your made-to-order piece, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to find a thoughtful resolution.
